Human Resources

Since Human Resources handles employee records, unemployment, worker's compensation, and benefits and recognitions, as well as dealing with all other employee issues, the EBID Human Resources Manager is a very busy individual.

Tom Hansen has been in the personnel field for 24 years and feels that people are his customers and that the employees are the most valuable resource at EBID. His reputation is one of treating all employees ethically, fairly, and with dignity in all aspects of their work or personal lives. He also believes policies should be enforced with consistency for fairness and for legal reasons.

He also currently serves as the District's Safety Director.

Human Resources is just that---using our human resources to the fullest and in the best possible areas in order to benefit both the employees and the District.
