The computer department of the Elephant Butte Irrigation District exists only for one purpose: to serve you, the farmers of Southern New Mexico. These days, the District's computer systems affect almost every facet of our operations---billing, order taking, metering, mapping, and the monitoring of water flow through our system, all vital elements to keep your irrigations running smoothly and also to protect your water rights in the on-going regional battle for this vital resource.

The new EBID web site should also prove to be useful tool for you. You can now check your balances in the Farmer Services section, and the web site can also notify you of any changes in water allotments and serve as the place for you to get any late-breaking news as the irrigation season progress. So check in often, and write to webmaster@ebid-nm.org with any suggestions you have for improvements. Remember, it's your web site...
