Maintenance

Welcome to EBID'S Maintenance Department

Our department is comprised of one (1) staff member, four (4) foremen, sixteen (16) equipment operators, eight (8) weed control, three (3) maintenance support, one (1) fabricator/welder, three (3) mechanics and one (1) maintenance coordinator.

Our responsibilities are many and varied:

During irrigation season we take care of gopher holes, weed plugs, ditch breaks and runovers. We mow, spray and grade canals and laterals to control the numerous weed species found in our area. We also do general maintenance on flood control dams.

During periods of no water (off season) we repair irrigation turnouts and check gates, clean canals and laterals, restore canal banks and install pipe in our system. We fabricate steel gates and gearboxes.

Throughout the year our vehicle fleet, heavy equipment and mowers are repaired and serviced by our mechanics.
