Personal Library >> Saving Satellite Maps

You can also save any Google Maps of Microsoft Virtual Earth (MSVE) maps that you find useful. Satellite maps are site related, so they will always have the latitude and longitude of the site you selected at the time you saved the map. But you may change the Zoom factor and decide which is better, the Google Map or the MSVE satellite map.

To save a map, just click the Satellite Map from the Interactive Data Page for the site in question. The Satellite Map will appear in a pop-up window. Adjust the Zoom Factor to your liking. You may also switch to the Google Map if you are viewing the MSVE map and vice versa.

If you are logged on you will see a Save Map button at the bottom of the pop-up window. Once you have the map the way you like it, press the Save Map button, and a moment later you will receive a "Your map has been saved" message. That map has now been added to your Personal Library.
